Christin began her training in ballet as a child and continued with it as a career. She has had the opportunity to dance for and study with some of the best in the business, including Gretchen Ward-Warren, John Parks, Edward Villella, Svetlana Osiyeva, Jeanne Travers, and Diane McCarthy. She has continued her education in dance, receiving her certificate in Simonson Technique and Zena Rommett Floor Barre Certificatification. She has completed her 200 RYT training in the styles of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Christin is an avid contributor to community arts programs working with many local schools' theater programs, the NJ Arts in Ed Foundation, and various foundations. Christin is a National Dance Educators Organization member and National Dance Honor Society. Christin is also Co-Director of Dance at The Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ), Along with the Studion Manager, Erin Dowd. Christin opened Art In Motion in 2007 with the general rule that children/people learn better when supported in a challenging but loving, non-competitive environment. Since her opening in 2007 with 21 students, she has grown the business on that philosophy to upwards of 400 students. Christin prides herself and her business on being more than "just a dance school" but a place where people can feel, breathe, and have a safe, healthy environment to be themselves.

Erin has taught in both academic and artistic settings and has been on faculty at Art in Motion since 2013. She previously served as Co-Director of Dance at The Academy of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, NJ.
In the studio, Erin weaves structure and freedom, guiding dancers toward clarity of alignment and technical strength while nurturing their individuality. Her teaching encourages dancers to move with purpose, play with curiosity, and uncover the joy and meaning that dance uniquely offers each dancer.
Instructor
Adin performed with the Oklahoma Festival Ballet while studying Dance Education and Physical Therapy, blending their love of dance with a strong focus on body mechanics. They later trained with the professional company at New Jersey Ballet. Adin’s teaching highlights alignment, strength and fostering a passion for movement.
